Polypropylene
Murphy Company often sees the use of polypropylene piping system materials in a laboratory environment and on DI and RO water systems. Considered a less expensive installation, polypropylene will offer certain customers the quality that they need for less sophisticated pharmaceutical water system installations, particularly in a laboratory environment.

Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF)
Murphy Company is experienced in the installation of PVDF for a customer specific installation.  PVDF provides an installation that is generally considered more suitable for high purity water than Polypropylene, but typically not used for pharmaceutical grade high purity water systems.

High Purity Stainless Steel
Murphy Company has extensive experience with the layout, fabrication and installation of high purity stainless steel orbitally welded tubing systems to support USP Water and Water For Injection installations. These systems are typically installed to standards established by BPE 2014, a standard produced by ASME that addresses materials, design, fabrication, inspection, testing and certification of equipment and systems used in the production of biopharmaceuticals. USP Water and Water For Injection are high purity water systems that fall under the FDA regulations for pharmaceutical product manufacturing.
